The Commission held an in-camera meeting on Thursday, June 23 to review how it can best proceed on the recent and tragic events in Edmonton’s Chinatown.
After serious deliberation, the Commission has directed staff to gather more background to ensure there is sufficient information available upon which to make an informed decision.
The Commission will continue deliberation at in-camera meetings in June/July and a statement will be issued once a decision is reached.
