Jessica Jacobs-Mino is a senior professional communicator, advisor, and strategist with experience in marketing, media and stakeholder relations, and issues management. As Director, Marketing & Communications, Canada West, with Stantec, Jessica oversees marketing, business development, and communications efforts for two regional businesses with offices spanning western Canada and the northern territories. A passionate leader and coach, Jessica works in lockstep with her team and regional leadership colleagues to drive revenue generation and growth, market positioning and strategic planning, as well as brand and reputation management. Prior to joining Stantec in 2015, Jessica served as a press secretary and senior political communications advisor to Government of Alberta ministers in the key portfolios of Treasury Board and Finance, and Justice and Solicitor General.

Jessica has a BA in Psychology and Creative Writing from the University of Alberta and has a Certificate of Completion from the ICD Governance Essentials Program. An active member of the Edmonton community and dedicated volunteer, Jessica is honoured to serve on the Edmonton Police Commission. Jessica has previously held positions on the boards of directors for non-profits including Ballet Edmonton, NorQuest’s 1000 Women Advisory Committee, and the Rotary Club of Edmonton Glenora.
