As required by the Police Act, the Edmonton Police Service has advised the Commission of a use of force occurrence by police officers on February 22, 2023.
The Director of Law Enforcement has assigned the matter to the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) for investigation.
As this is an active investigation, any inquires on this matter must be directed to ASIRT.
