The Edmonton Police Commission welcomes Dr. Michael Lee as its newest member.
Dr. Lee operates a private practice in general dentistry in Edmonton and is an avid volunteer. He has lectured at the University of Alberta, and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, and the Alberta Dental Association and its Disciplinary Committee. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International.
Dr. Lee is Chair of the Greater Edmonton Chinese Community Foundation, Treasurer and founding member of the Guizhou Rose Society, and Vice Chair of the Edmonton Chinese Benevolent Association. He has previously held various leadership roles in various community organizations, including Chairperson of the Edmonton Chinese Benevolent Association, and National Director of the National Congress of Canadian Chinese.
Dr. Lee was appointed by the Government of Alberta and will serve a three-year term set to expire on April 24, 2026.
