Standing Committees
In order to carry out its mandate, the Edmonton Police Commission has five standing committees. The Commission may also form ad hoc committees as required.
Note: The Commission Chair is an ex-officio member on all Committees.
Governance Committee
Focuses on governance that will enhance performance for both the Commission and the police service.
Finance & Audit Committee
Assists the police service in fulfilling its obligations and oversight responsibilities related to financial information and the audit function.
Professional Standards Committee
Monitors and oversees the public complaint process.
Human Resources Committee
Focuses on areas of human resources that will enhance performance for both the Commission and the police service.
Technology Committee
Assists and advises the police service in fulfilling governance responsibilities with respect to information technology and technology projects.
